Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-12

1. Service description

Bookwire is operated by Emilio Ciccotelli (sole proprietor), based in New York. Bookwire provides hosted online booking pages and lead-intake forms for small electrical contractors, including a triage quiz, photo upload, calendar slot picker, and SMS/email notification routing.

2. Who can use Bookwire

The Bookwire service is offered to licensed electrical contractors operating in the United States, and to their end customers booking electrical services through a Bookwire-hosted page. By using the service you confirm you are at least 18 years old.

3. Service availability

We work to keep Bookwire available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Booking pages may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, deployment, or upstream provider outages (e.g., Vercel, Supabase, Twilio, Resend, Cal.com).

4. Customer responsibilities

When you submit a booking through a contractor's Bookwire page, you agree:

5. Contractor responsibilities

Contractors using Bookwire agree:

6. Message and data rates

SMS notifications are sent only to contractors. Standard message and data rates from the contractor's mobile carrier may apply. Message frequency is variable and depends on booking volume — typically zero to several SMS per day. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Contact us at emilio@getbookwire.com with any questions.

7. Fees

Contractors are billed according to the service agreement they sign with Bookwire. Customers are not charged by Bookwire — any payment for electrical work is made directly to the contractor.

8. No warranty

Bookwire is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that bookings will result in a completed job.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bookwire's total liability for any claims arising out of or related to the service is limited to the fees paid to Bookwire by the claimant in the 12 months preceding the claim. Bookwire is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or property damage caused by work performed by a contractor.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. Bookwire reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any user that violates these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
