Bookwire (“Bookwire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides job-dispatch and booking software for trade-service businesses (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information you provide when you create or are added to a Bookwire account: your name, mobile phone number, and role (owner, dispatcher, or technician).
Operational data generated by using the Service: bookings, job details, assignments, ratings, and activity logs.
Device and usage information, such as app version and basic diagnostics.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide the Service and your account, to authenticate you using a one-time login code sent by SMS, to send you operational notifications (for example, booking alerts) by SMS and/or push notification, and to maintain security and prevent abuse.
SMS / Text messaging
When you provide your mobile number and tap “Send code” (or are added to a team and sign in), you agree to receive text messages from Bookwire, including account login codes (one-time passcodes) and booking and job alertsrelated to your business’s operations.
Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for help. Opting out of operational SMS may limit your ability to receive time-sensitive job alerts.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in information with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Phone numbers are used only to operate the Service as described in this policy. Message and data rates are set by your mobile carrier, not Bookwire.
Sharing of information
We share information only as needed to operate the Service — for example, with infrastructure providers that host our database and deliver messages on our behalf (such as our cloud database provider and our SMS delivery provider). These providers process data under contract and only to provide their service to us. We do not sell personal information.
Data retention
We retain account and operational data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Your choices
You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP, and you can request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us.
Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective date” above.
